My great grandparents moved from Sweden to homestead right here in this community. My grandparents, parents, and I all grew up here so I’m grateful to be ministering to this community that I love so much.
I joined the New Hope staff after being the Executive Director at a Christian recovery program in Minneapolis. In that role I learned to oversee financial management, manage staff, develop policies and procedures, and work on issues related to buildings and grounds which is half of my position here at New Hope.
Because of my past life experiences with brokenness and addiction, I’m excited about the other half of my position as the director of Hope for Life Recovery. I love to teach others and encourage them with my story of going from being in a prison cell to being married to my amazing wife and beautiful daughters, and having my dream job of doing ministry in my own community. What a great chance to work with a team of people who have a drive to reach East Central Minnesota and beyond.
You’ll often find me playing softball, bowling, working around my house, playing with my daughters Grace and Heidi, and watching every talent competition there is on tv.
