I grew up in Elk River, Minnesota. I pursued my Bachelor of Science degree at Northwestern College (now known as the University of Northwestern – St. Paul) in Roseville, Minnesota. Aiming to work more on the business side, I received my degree in Management Information Systems in 2004.
During my college years, I met and married my husband James. We settled in Cambridge soon thereafter. James is the plumbing division supervisor for a property management company in the Twin Cities. After we had our first child in 2005, I made homemaker my primary job, coupled with many different part-time jobs in retail, bookkeeping/office management, daycare, school para subbing, and in HopeKids.
I have 4 children ages 15 to 8 – Kylie, Audrey, Sydney, and Henry. I enjoy watching my children’s different sporting events, family camping and hiking trips, reading, being a huge Vikings fan, and sneaking out to Applebee’s or Target with some girlfriends. One thing you may not know about me is that I have a twin sister who lives in the Blaine area… Or maybe you have seen her and not even known she wasn’t me!
With my youngest child now in school, I am enjoying working outside of the home more. Staying home for 13 years taught me an incredible amount of patience, tenacity, and organizational skills. Life has all kinds of seasons, and God is faithful!
